Angers SCO has signed Anthony Lopes as their new goalkeeper for a period of two years. The club found a replacement for Hervé Koffi, who left for Lens after the expiration of his loan. Anthony Lopes, an experienced 35-year-old goalkeeper, signed a 2-year contract linking him to the club until 2028, with an option for an additional year. The former OL goalkeeper successfully passed his medical visit on Thursday. Anthony Lopes arrives at Angers with the label of an experienced goalkeeper, having played 489 games with OL and 539 professional games in total. He joined Nantes after leaving OL in 2024 and spent the last two seasons with the Canaries before their relegation. The Franco-Portuguese is one of the most experienced goalkeepers in Ligue 1. Angers SCO has therefore found a quality goalkeeper for the upcoming season. Anthony Lopes should bring his experience and skills to the club.
